Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Zelix Services ("we", "us") handles information collected through zelixservices.com and in the course of providing document preparation and correspondence support services. Zelix Services is not a law firm; using this website does not create an attorney-client relationship.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Through the Request Assistance and Contact pages: your name, whether you are an individual or a business, email address, telephone number, state and county, the type of assistance requested, your description of the request, and your preferred contact method.
- Documents and information you share with us after we arrange it with you, so that we can prepare the materials you direct.
- Correspondence with us by email, telephone, or text message.
Information collected automatically
- Standard web server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of each request. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
- This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated to say so before it is enabled.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your request and communicate with you about it
- To prepare documents and correspondence at your direction
- To keep business records we are required to keep
- To protect the website and our services against spam, abuse, and unauthorized access
- To comply with law
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. How we share information
We share information only when needed to do the work you have asked for or when the law requires it:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our web hosting and email delivery providers. They may process information only on our behalf.
- At your direction, for example when you instruct us to deliver, mail, file, or serve a document.
- Contracted attorneys, if your matter is escalated beyond document preparation. We tell you in writing before that happens.
- As required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
5. Retention
We keep request records and client files for as long as needed to complete your request and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and then delete or destroy them. Documents you provide are returned or securely destroyed when the engagement ends, as described in your written service agreement.
6. Security
- This website is served over HTTPS.
- Access to client information is limited to the people who need it to do the work.
- We do not ask for Social Security numbers, account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers in the initial request, and we arrange a safe way to share documents with you before you send them.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your information with us has been compromised, contact us right away.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor such requests regardless of whether the law requires us to. To make a request, use the Contact page, call 424-371-7681, or email info@zelixservices.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
8. Children
Our services and this website are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and the current version is always published at this address.
