1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Zelix Services ("Zelix Services," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, online forms, electronic communications, and related website features (collectively, the "Website").
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Website.
These Terms govern website use only. Any paid document preparation services are governed by a separate written service agreement with the authorized service provider.
2. Nature of Our Services
Zelix Services is a brand associated with non-attorney document preparation and administrative support services.
Services that require registration as a California Legal Document Assistant ("LDA") are provided only by individuals or entities properly registered and authorized to perform those services.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, services may include:
- Client-directed document preparation
- Administrative document organization
- Typing and formatting correspondence according to specific client instructions
- Administrative coordination of authorized document delivery
- General information about publicly available legal resources
- Other legally permitted non-attorney administrative services
The availability and scope of services are determined by applicable law, registration requirements, and the individual written service agreement.
We reserve the right to decline requests that exceed the lawful scope of our services.
3. Not a Law Firm — No Legal Advice
ZELIX SERVICES IS NOT A LAW FIRM. DOCUMENT PREPARATION SERVICES PROVIDED BY REGISTERED LEGAL DOCUMENT ASSISTANTS ARE NOT ATTORNEY SERVICES.
Legal Document Assistants are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice or perform services reserved for licensed attorneys.
Neither the Website nor the non-attorney services described on it provide:
- Legal opinions or individualized legal advice
- Legal representation
- Legal strategy
- Attorney-client advocacy or negotiations
- Representation in court
- Guarantees concerning legal rights, remedies, or outcomes
Information provided on the Website is for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.
4. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Accessing this Website, contacting Zelix Services, completing an inquiry form, or submitting documents does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
Any representation by an independent licensed attorney must be separately agreed upon between the client and that attorney.
Zelix Services cannot guarantee that an attorney will agree to accept any matter.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients and prospective clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete, and truthful information.
- Supplying documents they are legally authorized to disclose.
- Providing specific instructions for requested document preparation.
- Reviewing and approving completed documents.
- Monitoring relevant legal deadlines.
- Seeking qualified legal advice when necessary.
Zelix Services does not independently determine which legal documents a client should use or which legal positions a client should assert.
Documents are prepared only within the scope of services permitted by law.
6. Correspondence and Document Delivery
Where legally permitted and expressly authorized, the responsible document professional may provide administrative assistance with correspondence preparation or delivery.
Document preparation does not mean that Zelix Services is representing the client as legal counsel or independently asserting legal claims.
Clients remain responsible for the content of their specific instructions, review and authorization of their documents, and any deadlines or legal requirements applicable to their matters.
Any required formal service of process must be performed through legally authorized means.
7. Attorney Resources and Independent Representation
Certain matters may require legal advice, negotiation, litigation, or other services that can only be performed by licensed attorneys.
In those situations, clients may be directed to appropriate independent attorney resources.
Any attorney introduction or referral service offered through the Website will be subject to applicable law and regulatory requirements.
Attorneys are independent professionals unless expressly disclosed otherwise. Zelix Services does not control their professional judgment, fees, acceptance of clients, or legal outcomes.
A separate engagement agreement is required before any attorney-client relationship begins.
8. Client Intake and Submitted Information
Our Website may allow visitors to submit inquiries and supporting documents.
Submission of information does not guarantee acceptance of a service request.
We may request additional information, decline a matter, or determine that a request must be handled by a licensed attorney.
Please do not submit unnecessary Social Security numbers, bank account credentials, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through general contact forms.
Use designated secure document-upload features when instructed.
Information submitted before an attorney-client relationship exists is not automatically protected by attorney-client privilege.
9. Fees and Service Agreements
General Website access is free unless expressly stated otherwise.
Fees for document preparation or related services will be disclosed in a separate written agreement before services begin.
No service agreement is established merely by visiting the Website or submitting an inquiry.
Applicable service agreements must identify the authorized provider, services, costs, and required statutory consumer disclosures.
Additional government filing fees, postage, delivery expenses, and third-party costs will be disclosed where applicable.
We do not guarantee that any document or correspondence will produce a specific legal or financial result.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
Consumers receiving California LDA services have statutory cancellation rights.
Where California Business and Professions Code section 6410 applies, a client may rescind the LDA service contract within 24 hours after signing.
Upon valid rescission, fees must be returned in accordance with applicable law, subject only to legally permitted charges for services actually, necessarily, and reasonably performed with the client's knowing and express written consent.
Additional cancellation rights may apply if the provider fails to satisfy statutory requirements.
The separate written LDA contract controls service-specific cancellation procedures and must accurately disclose all applicable rights.
Nothing in these Website Terms limits any statutory consumer cancellation or refund right.
11. No Guarantees or Promises of Results
Zelix Services does not guarantee:
- Elimination or reduction of debts
- Acceptance of correspondence by creditors or third parties
- Dismissal of lawsuits
- Prevention of litigation
- Successful resolution of disputes
- Specific financial outcomes
- Responses from recipients
- Particular processing or completion times unless separately agreed upon
Results depend on circumstances outside our control, including client instructions, document accuracy, third-party decisions, and applicable legal requirements.
12. Website Availability
We work to maintain reliable Website functionality but cannot guarantee continuous, error-free, or uninterrupted access.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Website features for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

By providing your contact information, you authorize us to contact you regarding inquiries, requested services, account administration, document requests, and other transaction-related matters.
Optional promotional communications will be sent only where permitted by applicable law and subject to required consent and opt-out rights.
Consent to promotional communications is not required to submit an inquiry or obtain document preparation services.

Any disputes shall be handled through courts with lawful jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer rights.
These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive the right to pursue legally available remedies.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically.
